She obtained the Master degree in Education and Adapted Physical Activities at the University of Torino (Italy). Her PhD project was about the conceptualization and measurement of the frailty construct among older adults. She was also involved in the development and implementation of preventive interventions in older adults. She has developed the Italian version of the Tilburg Frailty Indicator. She has been responsible of the project “ITIF – Un’innovazione sociale per valutare e prevenire la frailty nella popolazione anziana” (Smart Cities and Communities and Social Innovation, MIUR). She is currently a research fellow at University of Torino (Italy) and her work is focused on implementation and evaluation of physical exercise effects in people with chronic diseases. She is author of a book and several international papers on these themes.
